This grant will support initiatives that strengthen the voice, agency and leadership of women, girls and gender-diverse people to lead actions that contribute to gender justice.

The African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) is delighted to launch our open call for proposals and to invite women’s rights and feminist
organisations, collectives and actors to apply! AWDF is a Pan-African feminist fund working to resource, strengthen and uphold African women’s
rights and feminist organisations and movements that strive for gender justice and social transformation. We envision and work towards creating
an Africa, and a world, where gender justice, freedom and dignity are achieved for all
